A Much Needed Vacation
Following the three theatre premiere events of the documentary film Sherwin and Pam took a few weeks for a much-needed vacation.
Most couples celebrate their 25th Wedding Anniversary with something special. August of 2013 found Sherwin and Pam in a heavy road schedule and on their 25th Anniversary they were working a special event for the “Good Sam’s RV Club” in Little Falls, MN. At the end of October they celebrated 26 ¼ years of marriage! This was the first “real vacation” they have ever taken together!
The trip started in San Diego, CA and included excursions to the San Diego Zoo and “Old Town San Diego.” They then traveled on to Hawaii and time at a very nice resort. They did take time to be tourists for a day visiting Pearl Harbor but mostly they tried to do as little as possible!
Sherwin commented that this is the longest period of time he has gone without playing the guitar since the age of ten! He also managed to make the trip without cowboy boots or cowboy hat! Pam laughingly said that the days pass much slower and last much longer when you are not trying to accomplish things at break neck speed!

Pioneer Public TV Airs "A Sherwin Linton Christmas"
In December of 2013 Pioneer Public TV spent a day on site at Royal River Casino in Flandreau, SD filming a live performance of Sherwin and Pam's annual Christmas Show. This production has been edited for television and aired on November 29th and 30th and also on December 7, 2014. This is a 90-minute music performance show that seemed to get everyone in the holiday spirit! The show had great broadcast position being sandwiched between the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas special and the Daniel O'Donnell Christmas Show! Look for this show to re- broadcast during the holiday season 2015!
Sherwin & Pam
Salvation Army Bell Ringers
One of the annual holiday highlights for Sherwin and Pam is taking a morning shift as Bell Ringers for the Salvation Army. Tuesday, December 23 rd found them dressed in Victorian costumes, greeting shoppers as they passed their kettle location in the skyway over 8thStreet entering Macy's in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Most folks are in the giving spirit and this is a big part of what brings the spirit of Christmas into Sherwin and Pam's hearts! They encourage everyone to not only give financially but also give of their time for those less privileged.
Sherwin and Pam were pleasantly surprised this year when they were selected Bell Ringers of the Day for their efforts for the Salvation Army and awarded tickets to see Trans Siberian Orchestra at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. A great concert and evening out! Sherwin and Pam treated themselves to steak dinner at one of their favorite spots, Mancini's Char House in St. Paul before the show.
Sherwin's Herd Of New Fans
While working hard to film the video for the final segment of the documentary "Sherwin Linton - Forever On The Stage," Sherwin and producer Tim Bakken ventured into a very rural setting in northeast South Dakota. With the audio track to the final song "My Rainbow" safely saved to his IPhone Sherwin was to attempt to lip-sync the song for filming. The activity drew a very vocal and curious crowd making it impossible for Sherwin to hear the audio he was planning to lip-sync to. Tim suggested Sherwin sing and entertain his all new audience so Sherwin obliged and found a whole new fan base. The scene was captured on film by producer Tim Bakken who uploaded this very humorous clip to YouTube. We thought you would enjoy it!
